The Important Stuff
Our studio is designed to be a welcoming, relaxed environment where people of all ages and skill levels can enjoy the joy of painting. Whether you're here for a solo creative session, a family outing, or a group event, we provide everything you need to create something special.
How it Works
Visiting our studio is easy and fun! Simply choose a piece of pottery from our wide selection, pick your favourite colours, and start painting. Once you’re done, we’ll glaze and fire your piece in our kiln, transforming it into a beautiful, food-safe, and functional work of art. Your finished masterpiece will be ready for collection in about a week.
Who Can Visit?
Our studio is open to everyone—kids, adults, beginners, and experienced artists alike. No appointment is necessary for small groups, but we recommend booking in advance for parties or larger gatherings.
Booking & Opening Hours
Advance Booking Required
Admission is by advance booking only, except when we are quiet. Entry is subject to our Terms & Conditions to ensure visitor comfort. New painters may not be admitted outside designated session times. Each session lasts two hours.
Opening Hours
​Monday – Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday– Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may close early if no bookings)
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may close early if no bookings)

We also have a late night Thursday from 6-8:30pm every other week
School Holidays & Bank Holidays
​During Dorset/Hampshire school holidays and most bank holidays, we are open seven days a week. Outside of these times, we are usually closed Monday – Wednesday.
Other Bits
​Prefer to paint at home? Order online and take your pottery kit home!
Last admission is two hours before closing time.
We may close early on quiet days or if there are no further bookings.
Pricing
Studio Fees & Admission
At our studio, we aim to provide a welcoming and creative space for everyone to enjoy pottery painting. Our studio fee covers all the essentials—paints, tools, and glazing—so you can focus on bringing your masterpiece to life!

​Painters: £5.75 per person (includes all materials and glazing)
Non-Painters: £3.75 per table (one per group)
Children Under 3: Free
Painting Time
Enjoy two hours of painting! Need more time? Return to finish your piece at no extra charge.

Better Friends Membership
Regular painters can join our Better Friends membership for exclusive perks. Ask us for details!

Baby & Child Handprints
We charge one adult studio fee for painted handprints.

Pottery Prices
Our pottery pieces range from £3.50 to £80, depending on your selection.
